Homes today are becoming better sealed and insulated making them more comfortable and less drafty than the homes of old. But these improvements can come with challenges and drawbacks of their own.

Homes of the past whilst being less comfortable on average could breathe better than the modern sealed homes of today. allowing them to dry out faster and suffer from less condensation and air quality related issues.

It is imperative that homes be well vented and that the building envelope be functioning as intended to keep our homes comfortable and staying dry
